Carlos Villa at Fort Mason

we went to carlos villa's opening at the fort mason in sf. got lost driving in sf then got lost again inside the fort.

we attended to support carlos but once we were there. i don't think he needed any. it was packed with people and miro's stroller had a hard time squeezing in. my loose group of artists met. we were planning to exhibit at the bindlestiff in march or may i think. we talked a bit about it then just look at the art and took pictures.

i noticed 98 percent of carlos' audience were white. we were the only pinoys there and 2 of them are his students.

carlos introduced me to a lady who's santi's niece. she told me mutya was around town. i wanted to meet her also. i already met lille at pusod. this lady (i forgot her name) just finished a film about aswangs in siquijor. we talked about aswangs because i knew people in quezon who they say were aswangs. me and she were not sure if aswangs exist or not.

i've been wanting to art talk with carlos but somehow i know there's nothing to talk about. and besides i know carlos is always busy. but i still want to art talk with him anyway.

we went to eat at jollibee in union city after this.
