Dragon, Script, Characters and Cherry Blossoms

i've been busy the last 2 weeks (besides my day job) doing tattoos.

i learned that the type of skin has a lot to do with how the needle pricks it. i did one on this lady on her wrist and i had no problems inking her but the dragon i did on another guy had me do the lines twice on some areas because of the type of his skin. the fat combined with the thickness of his skin made the needle bounce off of his skin.

i told the guy i would finish the tattto in 4 hours but it took me 9 grueling hours.

the other setback i had was our position. he was lying on his back in the sofa while i was sitting on a low chair. this made my back hurt. i had no choice because i did the tattoo in his house and that's the best space we had.

i started 830pm friday, stopped at 2 am and continued at 9am saturday. i finished at 1pm.

i told the guy on the first session that i had to stop because i was too tired and it made my hands shake. he wanted to finish it that night but he agreed to stop.

i was a bit frustrated but decided i had to make it good despite all this and finish the tattoo. that's what i did and i was glad that he liked the result.

the tattoo on the left wrist was to cover up 2 slashes. the script and the kiss mark was on the neck of the guy with the dragon.
